Series of rapids in a quiet village
Tumbling down from the River Dochart, the beautiful, rocky Falls of Dochart are a good reason to make a photo stop in the village of Killin. This lovely natural attraction runs right through the heart of town, beneath the old Dochart Bridge, and locals say it is even more of a dramatic view when the weather is gloomy!
The village itself, located on the western shores of Loch Tay, makes a great base for salmon fishing, watersports and walks in the surrounding mountains of Breadalbane.
