Ancient landslide and mountain peak
This is one spot where you’ll definitely want to pull the car over for a photo. The Quiraing is part of the Trotternish Ridge on the Isle of Skye, an area formed by a series of ancient landslips. The Quiraing is still slowly sliding down, thus requiring repairs to the road each year. The drive over this area is stunning, with hairpin bends and 17% gradients at some points on the narrow road.
